There are 80 staffs, among which there are 4 doctors, 9 masters and 18 bachelors. R&D; and technique personnel account above 30% of the total staff. The Company has the most advanced testing equipments of Li-ion battery pack management system, experimental equipments and Li-ion battery charge and discharge equipments. The Company mainly researches and develops EV battery pack management systems and the annual production value has reached RMB0.1 billion. The Company has its own core technology and proprietary intellectual property rights. The Company has cooperated with Qingdao University and obtained the national invention patent for EV battery pack, namely “One Direct Current Voltage Step-Down Circuit”. This patent is a topological structure which is used in the electric energy balanced management circuit of high capacitance battery cells of Li-ion battery packs. It can realize high-efficiency, low cost and reliable balanced control of battery cells. This technique has been proved in low voltage power system of EV and the effect is ideal. The principle of this technique is right, the practical value is high, and it can effectively solve the balanced management problems between the battery cells during the practical application of high capacitance Li-ion power battery packs. It is low cost, suit to scale production and in the leading position in China. The Company has researched and developed EV battery management system for two years. The Company has invested RMB5 million and developed successfully a model of EV low voltage Li-ion battery pack management system which has been put in mass production. The research of EV high voltage Li-ion battery pack management system has been finished and it is being tested. With the successful R&D; and industrialization of the high voltage Li-ion battery pack management system, it will promote the settlement of the key technical problems of EV, EV development, energy saving and emission reduction.
